GROUP HEALTH BENEFITS

In today's highly competitive marketplace, it's becoming increasingly difficult for business owners to attract and retain top talent. Salary is no longer the sole compensation driver. Employees are also looking at an employer's overall benefits package and its potential to help address their real concerns of financially protecting their families in addition to adequately planning for retirement.

You probably already have a standard benefits package in place, one that includes medical and dental coverage, disability income insurance, and a retirement plan. However, your competitors more than likely offer a similar benefits package. These days, employees are looking for benefit plans above and beyond the standard packages that most employers already offer. These benefits often provide the primary incentive for key employees to join and remain loyal to your company.

Designing an attractive employee benefits package may seem expensive, but the tax considerations can help offset the overall cost, and its impact on current and prospective employees could be rewarding. We will work with you to design the plan according to the needs of your business needs and your employees.

Long Term Disability & Short Term Disability
We offer Long Term Disability and Short Term Disability programs, designing the plan for staff and for high income employees. The Long Term Disability benefit can have a maximum monthly benefit of $20,000 per month.

Voluntary Benefits
Additional benefits included are Voluntary Life/AD&D plans, Dental Plans, Cancer Plans, Voluntary Long Term Care and Critical Illness.

Section 125 Cafeteria Plans
We design, administer, enroll, educate employees, and implement Section 125 Cafeteria plans. A Section 125 Cafeteria Plan allows the employer to offer a menu of benefits to the employees. They may pick and choose the benefits that best meet their needs. The employee premium contributions for the benefits selected by the employee (ie: health, dental, Short Term Disability, Cancer Plan, voluntary life, medical and child care reimbursement) are deducted from each paycheck on a pre-tax basis. This provides significant savings to the employee, as well as to the employer.

Administration of Section 125 Cafeteria Plans

We design, administer, enroll, educate employees, and implement Section 125 Cafeteria plans. A Section 125 Cafeteria Plan allows the employer to offer a menu of benefits to the employees. They may pick and choose the benefits that best meet their needs. The employee premium contributions for the benefits selected by the employee (ie: health, dental, Short Term Disability, Cancer Plan, voluntary life, medical and child care reimbursement) are deducted from each paycheck on a pre-tax basis. This provides significant savings to the employee, as well as to the employer, in that the social security and FICA match withholdings are considerably lowered. By reducing the amount of Federal tax and social security tax (FICA) paid by the employee, the employer saves approximately 7.5% matching social security (FICA). This savings to the employee and the employer will be significant.

Furthermore, deduction reports will be provided to your payroll department prior to each pay date. These reports detail each employee’s payroll deduction for that particular pay period. Additionally, we provide complete administration of the Flexible Spending Accounts (medical and child care reimbursement). Employees may e-mail or fax these incurred expense receipts to our office for processing, and checks are delivered to your Human Resources Department for distribution. We also offer the convenience of direct deposit for these account payments.

Enrollments

Our staff will work closely with your Human Resources Department to ensure proper training of insurance carriers’ online systems. Furthermore, we will serve as the liaison between your Human Resources Department and the insurance carriers with any claims issues and/or billing issues.

We will conduct group benefit meetings with your employees, once the group benefits are ready to be implemented. Also, if needed, we will coordinate these meetings to include representatives from each insurance carrier. As part of our services, we will meet “one-on-one” with each employee to help them understand their benefits on a personal level, and choose the benefits that best meet their needs. Our existing clients appreciate

The personal service we provide, in that, a live person is always available to answer questions and they are not sent through an automated system. A member of our staff will also be available after hours. Our enrollers are fulltime employees and are not commission driven.
